The experimental hop HBC 692 is commercialized with 2020 years harvest and has gotten the new name Talus. It's a daughter of Sabro and therefore it's easy to understand where it's gotten its strong aromatic profile from.
It's excellent for beer styles where you want a distinct fruitiness, for example APA, IPA, modern lager and saison.
Arom: Strong aroma of blood grape, citrus peel, dried roses, spruce resin, tropical fruits and sage.
Origin: USA
Crop: 2021
Typical values: Alpha acids (correct alpha value is printed on the label): ca. 7-10 %
Cohumulone: ca. 35 %
Total oils: 2,0 - 2,7 ml / 100 g
Possible replacements: Sabro
